As part of our Nicsa Gives Back initiative at the FLS and in support of Pride Month, we are partnering with Out My Closet, a nonprofit that provides quality clothing to under-resourced and unhoused LGBTQ+ youth and adults.
Out My Closet provides quality clothing to individuals ages 15-40, helping empower confidence, dignity, and opportunity through access to professional and everyday apparel.
We are asking all attendees to support the clothing drive by bringing new or gently worn items to the Symposium. Collection bins will be available next to the registration desk for easy drop-off.
Out My Closet is especially seeking jeans and gender-neutral clothing and aims to provide stylish, contemporary apparel from brands such as Aritzia, GAP, Zara, H&M, and Polo. While these items are most needed, all donations are welcome.

Clothing Donation Guidelines Please ensure all donated items meet the following requirements: - Items must be laundered - Clothing should be new or gently worn - Donations must be free of stains, rips, broken zippers, excessive wear, or animal hair - Footwear must be cleaned and in excellent condition - Items should be youth-appropriate for individuals ages 15-40 - Undergarments, bedding, and home furnishings cannot be accepted - Please avoid faded or heavily worn items, including clothing with sweat residue, fiber balls, cracked prints, or visible damage - Corporate-branded or promotional apparel, including race shirts or giveaway items, cannot be accepted
