McLean, VA, November 25, 2013–NICSA announces the keynote presenters for the 2014 Strategic Leadership Forum (32nd Annual Conference.) This event will be held in Hollywood, Fla. on February 9-11, 2014, and will address the theme of “Managing the Investment Firm in a Global World.”

“This year’s conference gives industry leaders a venue where they can discuss the best practices they need to manage their organization in a complex environment,” says Theresa Hamacher, President, NICSA. “Globalization is affecting everyone, even firms that have operations only in the United States. Regulatory and labor trends overseas are having an impact on the fund industry here today.”

The 2014 NICSA Strategic Leadership Forum keynote speakers will address the opportunities and challenges that a global world presents.

• Former U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Carlos Gutierrez, will share his views on global strategy, drawing from his experiences as CEO of Kellogg’s and as Vice Chairman of Citigroup’s Institutional Clients group.
• Jeffrey Rosensweig, Global Economics Forecaster and Expert on International Finance, will open this year’s conference sessions with a discussion of global economic, financial and demographic trends. He will aim to answer the question, “Why go global?”
• Former National Counterintelligence Executive and Former Mission Manager for Counterintelligence Executive, Joel Brenner will close out the conference with a discussion on the technological and risk management challenges of a global world.

Attendees of the Strategic Leadership Forum will be able to continue the conversation sparked by these keynote addresses in over a dozen breakout sessions and in the new Resource Center.
